For our music video we need only two actors; a young female and male. They are in a relationship therefore do not need to have a similar look. However when we were searching for our casts, we wanted people who would fit the genre of the music, for example somebody whom does not look prim and proper.
This person is most suitable for the female protagonist because she has experience in the acting discipline, due to being in school productions. Her appearance also relates to the song artist; Taylor Momsen because of the blonde hair and innocent natural look but her dark style which makes her perfect for the role. She is faired skinned and has light hair which will stand out against the dark clothing and music scene. We felt she could play both the happy and sad character due to her diverse look.
Male antagonist: Harry Yendell
This person has been chosen for the male role of the music video because of also having experience. Harry is a student currently studying drama, therefore he knows how to act natural and can help to give us tips about the directing which will be very beneficial to us as it will make the video more professional. As well as doing college productions he has worked along side our female protagonist which will make the chemistry of the video more realistic as they know one another. His looks are also suitable to this music genre as he portrays himself as the grungy type, who would date a girl like Grace.
